Introduction to housing
Where we live is important to all of us. It can be very hard to think about nearly anything else if we don’t have a home that feels safe and secure. Many people find it hard to take care of their health if they are living somewhere inadequate or unsafe, or if they’re not sure how long they can stay there.
But at some point, we will all have to make a decision about where – and how – we live and how we are going to find it. Our choices may range from going on a council waiting list to buying a place of our own. People living with HIV will have the same range of options to choose from and decisions to make as other people, depending on their circumstances.
