Taking the rubbish to the dump, by Mike

The first six months after diagnosis were a nightmare. Not just because of my HIV diagnosis but also because of general chaos in my life. No money, a job that was going nowhere, and a history of disastrous boyfriends.

I got so bored of this and made a stand. “Okay,” I said to myself, “that’s enough. This is when the fight back begins.”

So I set myself a new set of rules to live by and dumped all the rubbish that was causing me so much grief. So far, so good.
